Relaxed but authoritative hierarchy o Monarchs, Religious Leaders o Warriors o Production Masters (smiths, tanners, etc.) o Merchants, Common People o Slaves o Fen Caste system o Marriage between castes is only allowed if castes are on the same level (slaves can only marry slaves but merchants can marry commoners and monarch families can marry religious leaders’ families) Not very religious, prefer solitary reflection and meditation to ceremonious religions although some do choose to worship gods of their choice, no one really cares about religious preference Mainly use swords and shields, although some ar archers and a select few have been trained in knife fighting, mainly assassins It is not forbidden to marry outside of the house although no one has in recent memory Very sociable people, almost everyone knows each other Not a secretive society (if there is a problem at home then it is talked about with other’s) Society does not center around families, but who you wish to spend your time with, it is not expected that you make time to spend with your biological family, although many do choose to live with their biological parents until they have come of age Very strict policy about mind altering substances, they believe that if you cannot control your body then you cannot control your actions around others, and therefore cannot be a part of Medistarian society
