So Louis and I were talking about how we are going to regulate the PvP aspect of this and I hought of having a combat sector type set-up. If you look at the map you'll see what i mean, I've attatched a file. When you are in a town, no combat can occur. Guards and Staff will be walking around. However, obviously there will be "murders and assassinations in towns, players that do take part in in town combat will be taken into custody, tried for attempted murder and if found guilty, listed as criminal and set free into yellow zone. If the player is seen by guards he/she can be killed inside either yellow or green zones. In yellow zone, fighting is allowed, guards will be posted periodically and can choose to stop fights or not, depending on the guards. In red zones players can kill, pillage or plunder however they please, no guards will be posted, players will abide by safety rules and that is it. Anything you are carrying can be stolen or looted from your "corpse" after your death. Obviously, taking weapons and shields is going to happen, therefore people are going to want to go and take their stuff back. Hence vengeance kills. Players can set up their own bounties and offer rewards for if they can kill a player and bring in their weapons, obviously some people will sign up to bring in the bounties, only to realize that they don't want to bring the weapons in and then they get a bounty placed on themselves. It's a simple system but I think it'll be a nice seeling point. Attachments:
